I’ve finally got all my EV archives moved and I’m set up over at GenericGirl.com. Now I just have to move my archives from everywhere else - I’ve been blogging since ‘01!! Yikes!

See you there!
Writing in here has been hit and miss, and I can’t blame it on being busy or distracted anymore. The bottom line is the name of this journal doesn’t fit where I am in my life any longer. I’m happy damn it, so here - have a mint until I move to a new domain…
Am I here or not?
And I don’t know the answer to that. The past month and a half has been somewhat tumultuous - doing this and doing that - feeling this and feeling that - that whole “life is like a box of chocolates” sort of thing. But, today is a good day. It is raining! I can stay inside and feel no guilt. We’ve been trying to clear our property so we can fence the entire thing as well as put in an arena (uncovered) so I have a place to give riding lessons and practice barrel racing without having to trailer my horse 30 miles.
Oh - I nearly forgot! Abby had her BABY! Meet Socks everyone. Here she is only a few hours old. We weren’t expecting her until mid-June! You can imagine our surprise when we walked out Monday morning only to find a fresh little squirt running around! For those of you selling a pregnant horse, please tell the new owners the right breeding dates - sheesh! Nevertheless, Socks is the most precious little tyke ever! I am excited to report that she should mature at a glorious stature of 15.3 Hands with a nice thick build. She is grey now, but after she molts, she will turn jet black with two white socks on the back end and of course a big white blaze down her nose. I couldn’t have asked for prettier markings.

The weather around here has been absolutely gorgeous. Of course, this means I am out exercising, training, and working my horses. Except this morning. This morning, you could find me out back staining the deck. Yuck. I’d rather smell like horse sweat.
And suddenly, I’m out of things to say.
Because I really want to know!
I have always been fascinated in how we see ourselves and how the world sees us, especially the differences. So, what are my virtues and vices? Let me know if you set up one. I will be happy to grid you!
Thanks Miss Ann Thorpe for the link awesomeness.
